As a Registered Dietitian at SHIFT, Rachel provides evidence-based nutrition coaching to members through an individualized, goals-centric approach. Rachel values building relationships with members and uses a collaborative style to move members toward sustainable habit change.
Rachel received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from Wheaton College where she received accolades as a 400m track athlete. She received a Master of Science in Nutrition from University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her Dietetic Internship at Northwestern University, where she supported collegiate athletes from Northwestern’s football, basketball, and wrestling programs. Before joining SHIFT, Rachel worked as an outpatient weight management dietitian at University of Chicago Medicine in the gastroenterology department. She maintains a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Illinois.
Rachel is passionate about performance nutrition science and helping her members develop nutrition autonomy and freedom. Rachel loves a good challenge and in her free time can be found signing up for her next 5k, adding to her Chicago restaurant spreadsheet, or planning her next camping trip.
