Brian Hollett, M.D., M.B.a.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Brian Hollett is a performance-minded, process-focused, paradigm-challenging physician leader.

As a second-generation physician, a former 1st Team NCAA Football All-Conference Defensive Back, and a Chief Resident at Presence Resurrection Medical Center, Dr. Hollett has had a lifelong drive to understand how to build human health and how to optimize human performance. Driven by his passion for caring for others, he brings intelligence, integrity, and creativity to his practice of medicine each day. He believes that through small sustainable improvements in personal habits we can make meaningful and measurable changes that improve our quality of life and extend our lifespans.

Dr. Hollett continually seeks to empower individuals to take and maintain control of their health by working in close collaboration, embracing the complexity of achieving health in the modern world, and focusing first on what is simple. On a broader level, he is committed to innovative approaches towards solving healthcare’s quadruple aim through controlling cost and optimizing access to build desirable systems of care for both patients and physicians. Dr. Hollett is a trusted advisor to passionate individuals and innovative corporations seeking to potentiate previously unrealized improvements in health preservation and health span optimization.

Dr. Hollett has been with SHIFT since 2018. Prior to joining SHIFT, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at Resurrection Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Hollett received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and his M.B.A from Indiana University- Kelley School of Business. Dr. Hollett also received NCAA Football accolades during his undergraduate years for his role as defensive back at Wheaton College and scored amongst the nation’s top performers on the Family Medicine national board examinations.

Dr. Hollett lives in Lincolnshire with his pediatrician wife, Kirsten, and two children, Graham and Sloane. They enjoy big family walks throughout the city and staying connected at Park Community Church.
