Sierra Vanderkelen, M.D.
Dr. Sierra Vanderkelen is a passionate family physician who strives to formulate personalized health plans that put lifestyle changes and preventative medicine at the forefront of care. She observes and understands the unique needs of each individual, which are taken into consideration to achieve desired health outcomes. She believes one of the best parts of her job is helping individuals achieve their long-term health goals in ways that make them feel both supported and empowered. Through a balance of listening and guidance, Dr. Vanderkelen helps her patients become the healthiest version of themselves. Within her practice, she has focused specifically on areas of preventative health, integrative medicine, mental health, and women’s health.
Dr. Vanderkelen received her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in biomolecular sciences with a minor in medical anthropology. She earned her medical degree at New York Medical College and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. In addition, she completed the Integrative Medicine in-residency program through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and is board certified in Family Medicine.
When Dr. Vanderkelen is not practicing medicine, she enjoys running, skiing, cooking, reading, and spending time on the lake.
